Sunday the sad news reached here from Arriba, Colo., that Mrs. H. B. Morgan, once a resident of this place, died Friday, October 23rd. Dora A. Brandt was born July 11th, 1869, and died Oct. 23rd, 1908. Her entire life was spent here until December, when the family moved to Colorado, where she passed away to the world beyond. Mrs. Morgan's mother died when Dora was but a babe and she made her home with her grandparents, Daniel Brownson and wife, until she was united in marriage to Hugh B. Morgan, of this place, on April 28th, 1891. Dora was always a kind friend and neighbor and was always willing to give a helping hand in any cause and her many friends mourn her untimely departure. She leaves to mourn her loss, a loving husband, nine Children, four boys and five girls, one girl yet a tiny babe, a brother Will, whose home is in Elk River, Minn., besides a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services were held here Tuesday, conducted by Rev. Mann, of McGregor.
