The remains of Peter Marmann, aged thirty-eight years, were brought to this town, the home of his boyhood, from Chicago, where he died Saturday after an operation performed on him. After requiem mass in the Catholic church, interment took place in the new Catholic cemetery.

Peter Marmann, whose remains arrived here Tuesday, died October 19th in the hospital at Chicago, aged thirty-nine years and eleven months. He was born at Altrich, Wittlich county, came with his parents to this country in 1881, and they settled on a farm on Buck Creek. He worked several years in a brewery in Galena, Ill., and for some years conducted a saloon in Mineral Point, Wis., prior to his demise. He is survived by his brothers, Henry here, John in Washington, Nick in Dubuque, Matthias in Guttenberg, and two sisters, Mrs. Herman Staerk, in Chicago, and Mrs. E. Wagner, in Menushen, Washington.
