Mrs. Mary Kuhlman, wife of Wm. Kuhlman, passed away Saturday, June 25th, at 12:30 o'clock, following an illness of several months duration. Mary Christina Kuhlman, nee Dahl, was born May 25th, 1844, at Barlo, Mecklenburg, Schwerin, Germany, coming to America with her parents when she was seven years old. They located in Communia and were among its first settlers. She was married to Wm. F. Kuhlman in 1862. To them were born five children, Henry, Minnie, now Mrs. Henry Wilke, Bertha, George and Adelis, who, with a father, mourn the loss of a devoted mother and wife. Funeral services were held from the family residence Tuesday at one o'clock, and from there to St. Paul's Lutheran church, Rev. K. W. Braun officiating. Interment was made in the new cemetery.
