Viva Loraine Ellis, third daughter of H. E. and Agnes Ellis, was born at McGregor, Iowa, March 14th, 1885, moving with her parents to LaCrosse, Wis., when about four years of age. At this place she received her education and on April 7th, 1904, was united in marriage with Carl M. Olson. They made their home in LaCrosse until August of that year when they moved to Minneapolis, which place has since been her home, and where at 1708 Linden Avenue, May 17th, 1908, death relieved her after several months of suffering. Deceased leaves to mourn her early taking away her young husband, father and mother and two sisters, Mrs. Edw. Lachman, of LaCrosse, Wis., and Miss Georgia Ellis, of Minneapolis. The remains, accompanied by her husband, mother and Miss Georgia Ellis, came to this city on Tuesday evening and were taken to the home of her aunt, Mrs. Delila Tyler, the funeral being held on Wednesday afternoon from the Congregational church, Rev. J. G. Dickey officiating. Interment in the East Side cemetery.
