Mrs. Rodenberg left Sunday for the home of her brother, Herman Schroeder, south of Ceres. We extend sympathy to the Schroeder family who mourn the loss of a son and brother seventeen years of age, whose death occurred Sunday morning.

Albert H. Schroeder died at his father's home, Herman Schroeder, six miles west of Guttenberg, April 12th, of cerebro spinal meningitis.

Deceased was born April 9th, 1890. He had not rested well Friday night and on Saturday took sick while working in the field. A doctor was summoned, but medical assistance could not save him. Funeral services were held at the residence by Rev. J. Janzig, at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment was made in Ceres cemetery.
