Joseph Riessllmann, one of the well known residents of the north part of town, passed away at his home Tuesday afternoon after an illness of a number of months caused by cancer of the stomach. In hopes that he might find relief from his ailment Mr. Riessellmann had planned a few weeks ago to go to the hospital at Rochester, Minn., to undergo an operation, but owing to his health failing rapidly about that time he was advised to give up thoughts of going and since then he had been steadily sinking.

(Note: The surname Riessellmann / Riessllmann was spelled both ways in the article, as shown.)
