MONICA R. PFIFFNER
Monica R. Pfiffner, 86, of the Dubuque Nursing and Rehab Center, formerly of Ecumenical Towers, died at 9:40 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, at the Dubuque Nursing and Rehab Center.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Ardel Barta officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, rural Guttenberg, Iowa. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on March 16, 1917, in Guttenberg, daughter of Alfred and Clara (Eilers) Pfiffner.
Monica was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dubuque.
Surviving are a brother, Al (Dolores) Pfiffner, of Dubuque; three sisters, Bertha Moore, of Claremore, Okla., Delores (Kenneth) Northcraft, of Kansas City, Mo., and Mary (Vern) Breitbach, of Dubuque; two sisters-in-law, Jeanne Pfiffner, of Oceanside, Calif., and Marian Pfiffner, of Hollywood, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Herman, Arnold and Irwin.
