Little Son Called By Death

Little Loran Frank Buechel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Buechel, of this city, passed away on last Thursday evening, December 2, 1920, at 9:30 o'clock, after a short illness, and at the age of 1 year, 3 months and 1 day. Little Loran was born at Guttenberg, Iowa, on August 31, 1919. He was a bright little fellow and in his death the sunshine of the Buechel home was taken to the Great Beyond, where there is sunshine and happiness forever. Little Loran had been ill but a few days when the Angel of Death called him. All that loving hands could do and medical knowledge could suggest, was done for him to ward off death, but all to no avail. His untimely death is deeply mourned by his parents, two little sisters and many other relatives who will all sadly miss him.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Church in this city on Sunday afternoon. Rev. J. H. Brinkman officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery. The funeral was largely attended. The Buechel family has the sympathy of all in this community.
