PATZNER RITES HERE MONDAY

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. last Monday for Mrs. Rose Mary Patzner, 85, a long-time resident of Guttenberg.

Services were held from St. Mary's Church, Guttenberg, with Rev. A. J. Schmitz officiating. McBride Funeral Home was in charge of the services with burial at Mt. Olivet cemetery, Guttenberg.

The daughter of Nichloas (sic) Ames and Christine Scholl Ames, Mrs. Patzner was born April 18, 1877, in Potosi, Wis. She passed away Thursday evening May 24, 1962.

Mrs. Patzner was married to August Patzner in Tennyson, Wis., Oct. 9, 1900. Mr. Patzner passed away Mar. 6, 1937.

Pallbearers in the Monday service were Charles, Jr., LaVern, DuWayne, Robert and Delos Patzner and Donald Schmitt.

Mrs. Patzner is survived by one son, Charles A. Patzner, Guttenberg; one sister, Mrs. Anna Schumacher, Hugo, Colo.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, nine brothers and sisters.

She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Mary's parish.
