Ole Nelson, returning to his home south of Elgin in a somewhat intoxicated condition on the 24th ult., so drove his team that the horses and wagon rolled off and down an embankment ten to twelve feet high. When discovered the horses and wagon were all mixed up with Nelson underneath and so injured that death came to his relief before medical attendance arrived. He had a companion who escaped with small injuries. Nelson had been drinking.
