Mrs. Henry Hunt, a long time, highly respected resident of Mallory township, died at Finley hospital at Dubuque where she had been receiving medical treatment, at the age of 65 years. She was born near Garber on Jan. 15, 1862, and was a lifelong resident of Clayton county. The body was brought to her home in Mallory township on Friday. Funeral services were conducted at the Bethel church on Saturday afternoon, Rev. Hollingshead officiating. Interment was made in the Bethel cemetery. A very large number of relatives from near and far were in attendance at the funeral. Mrs. Hunt's maiden name was Anna Patrick. She was married to Henry Hunt of Mallory township. Before her marriage she was engaged in teaching in the rural schools of Clayton county for some time. Her death is deeply mourned by her husband, three children, three sisters, one brother, several grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends, who will all sadly miss this most worthy wife, mother and friend.
