McGregor Pioneer Passes Away in the West

Henry F. Heilman, another one of McGregor's pioneers and early settlers, died at the home of his son, Ernst, in Bozeman, Montana, Monday morning at 0:30 o'clock, of heart failure. Mr. Heilman has made his home in the west since the death of his wife, which occured just about a month ago, and his sudden death was unexpected.

He was born near Onobouck, Germany, in 1828, and was at the time of his death 81 years old. In 1856 he was united in marriage to Wilhelmina Roddewig, at Galena, and to this union, seven children were born, of whom four sons and two daughters still survive. Mr. and Mrs. Heilman were almost life long residents of McGregor.

The remains were shipped here and will probably arrive Thursday or Friday and will be accompanied by a daughter, Mrs. Forrietell, and her husband.

The funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Church, Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock, Rev. Father Lundon, officiating, and interment will take place in St. Mary's cemetery.
