Mrs. Rosina Popham, wife of Stephen Popham, died at her home Tuesday morning at nine o'clock. She was born in New England sixty-three years ago. After her marriage to Stephen Popham she resided in the vicinity of Lamont for many years until the past few years they moved here. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Arthur of Lamont and Clarence of Thorpe and one daughter, Miss Sadie at home, who tenderly cared for her during her long illness. The funeral services occurred at the home Thursday afternoon conducted by Rev. Peterson of Sheldon, a former pastor of Mrs. Popham, assisted by Rev. Turner of Rudd and the local pastor, Rev. Hoffman. Rev. and Mrs. Turner of Rudd sang two beautiful selections. Her remains were laid to rest in the Lason Township cemetery near Lamont beside her two sons who preceded her in death several years ago.
