The death of Anthony Lehnerstz* occurred at the Finley hospital in Dubuque last Tuesday following an operation. The remains were brought home Wednesday, where the funeral services were held Thursday, conducted by Rev. Bowan. Interment was made in the local cemetery. Mr. Lehnertz was born March 18, 1879, at Lakefield, Minn. He was married to Miss Anna Greasch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Greasch of this place, Oct. 4, 1909 at Dubuque. His father died when he was three years old and his mother passed away last October. Besides his widow he is survived by four children, Lloyd, Mildred, Marvin and Donald, all at home. One daughter preceded him in death May 25, 1921. He also leaves six sisters to mourn his death, Mrs. Marie Bergman and Mrs. Margaret Williams of East Dubuque, Mrs. Theresa Schultz and Josie Kahout of Chicago, Mrs. Clara Mayne of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Anna Lee of Dubuque.
