The death of Howard Carl Hagge occurred last Wednesday after several days illness. He is survived by his parents, three sisters and two brothers, also his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Haage and Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Opperman. Funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. O. Jahr, interment took place in our beautiful cemetery. The rose was but one lent to bud on earth and bloom in Heaven.

(Note: The surname Haage / Hagge was spelled both ways in the article, as presented here.)
