Clayton County Register, Thur., 19 May 1927.

A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Youngdale here Sunday morning. The little one, however, was too frail for this world and was called back to its Creator yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. Youngdale have the sympathy of the entire community.

Her Death Certificate names her as Shirley Ann Youngdale, d/o Paul & Dorothy (Johnson) Youngdale. DOB: 5/14/1927 DOD: 5/18/1927. Cause: Hemmorhage of newborn, contributory Hemophelia.
Burial: East Side, Elkader
