The funeral of Miss Pauline Storbeck was held at the Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock conducted by Rev. Fritschel.

Pauline Storbeck was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Storbeck was born on a farm near Elkader March 26, 1900, and confirmed in the Lutheran church at that place. A few years ago she came with her parents to a farm near Strawberry Point, later moving to a farm near Edgewood. About two years ago her health commenced to fail having spells at times when she suffered severely then when these passed away she was in apparently good heath. Her parents tried everything in order that she might be benefitted. About four weeks ago she went to Rochester to consult Mayo Brothers who told her parents there was nothing the matter with her. On her return home she went to assist Mrs. Todd at Edgewood with her work. Last Saturday after supper was finished she went to town and on her return she retired. In a few minutes she called Mrs. Todd to her saying she felt queer. A doctor was summoned at once but she never regained consciousness. She leaves her parents, two brothers, Arno and Eldo, and one sister, Celia, besides other relatives and friends who will regret the passing of this young girl. Interment took place in the Strawberry Point Cemetery.
