Was one of the Early PioneersThe community was shocked sunday when word reached here that Henry Withorn had passed away in chicago, where he had gone a few days previous to submit to an operation, caused by a tooth affliction, which had been bothering him for some time.
Mr. Wiethorn was one of our leading citizens and highly respected in the community, moving here from the farm near Watson where he had resided for many years.
He was classed among the early pioneers, and was held in highest esteem by his old neighbors. His age was not so advanced but that his friends looked forward to many years of association with him.
The remains were brought to his home here Monday morning accompanied by Mr. ad Mrs. Ziepprict, sister and brother-in-law. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon.

Servant of God well done,
Thy Glorious warfare's past
The battle's fought
[illegible] the victory's won
And thou art crowned at last.---
