Added by S. Ferrall, 7/7/2019:

Beatrice Katherine McNeff was born in Mason City, Iowa February 10, 1905, and passed away at her home in Monona Saturday, December 28th, after a short illness with influenza, at the age of 13 years, 10 months and 18 days.

She was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip A. McNeff, and practically her entire life was spent in Monona, where by her kindly ways and sunny disposition she had won a host of friends who are deeply mourned at her passing away.

She leaves to mourn her early departure her parents, three sisters, Margaret, Marian and Ruth, besides many other relatives.

The funeral services were held at the home, Monday afternoon, Dec. 30th, conducted by Rev. Geo. W. Self of the M.E. church and remains laid to rest in the family lot in Monona cemetery.

The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved family on the loss of little Bee.
