On Thursday, Sept. 25th, a little son was born to gladden the hearts of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Heiden, but the blessed Saviour called him to that heavenly mansion after 90 ticks of the clock of time, to be a bright little angel evermore. He was given into the arms of the blessed Redeemer through the holy Sacrament of baptism, with the name "Carl Augustus." The entire community sympathize with the parents.

Bye-Bye, little Carl,
Our hearts are sore,
For our hopes are shattered,
We'll see thee no more.
Until after Life's storms
And voyage are o'er
When we'll all be united
To part nevermore.
