Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 24 Jul. 1913. Monona column.

Andrew Kean died suddenly at his home here Sunday, suffering a stroke of paralysis about three o'clock in the morning and passed away late in the afternoon. Funeral took place Wednesday morning at St. Patrick's church, burial in the Catholic cemetery. He was 63 years old.
