Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 29 May 1913. Read column.

Mrs. Katharina Mueller, who was buried here last Monday, was born Oct. 13, 1831, in the Province of Saxony, Germany. She came to Clayton County in 1872 with her husband and for 19 years they lived here in town. Her husband died in 1893 and since that time she made her home with her sister, Maria Polkow. Two other sisters also survive, Mr. and Mrs. Mueller having had no children. Rev. Burkhard officiated.
