Rites Held For Mrs. Gordon

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Schutte Funeral Home for Mrs. Charles Gordon, who passed away Saturday at the home of her daughter in Bruce, Wisconsin. Rev. Walter T. Martin of the Community Presbyterian Church, officiated. Burial was at Frankville.

Elsie A. Alman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ebenezer Alman, was born August 24, 1864 at Elgin. She passed away Nov. 19, 1949, at the age of 82 years, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lester Davis, at Bruce, Wisconsin.

She was married to Charles Gordon on September 12, 1892 at Rock Rapids. Mr. Gordon died June 26, 1936, at Bruce.

She is survived by three daughters Mrs. Walter Brandt of Frankville, Mrs. Lester Davis of Bruce, Wisconsin, Mrs. Joseph Kaszmarski of Pettibone, North Dakota, ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great, great, grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Walter Matthews of Chicago preceded her in death.
