Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 30 Jan. 1913. Dingesville column.

Mrs. William Brown died Tuesday afternoon at her home in Osterdock. She has been very sick for several months so death was not unexpected. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at the house. She was buried in the Brown cemetery near Colesburg.

(Note: An apparent reference to Louisa Brown, 1837 - 14 Jan. 1913, shown in WPA records as buried in the Brown cemetery.)
