Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 9 Jan. 1913. Strawberry Point column.

The remains of Mrs. Thos. Crowley, of Des Moines, were brought here Monday for burial. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church, Father Hartigan officiating. Mrs. Crowley was a resident of this place twenty-five years ago. The remains were laid to rest in our beautiful cemetery beside her two children, who had preceded her to the great beyond.

Thomas (40) & Mary (32) Crowley, with 2 young children, John Thomas (5) & Farrell Francis (1), are enumerated on the 1885 Iowa State census, living in Cass twp.
