This afternoon at one o'clock from the German Lutheran church at St. Sebald occurs the funeral of Mrs. Lilly Schmidt, who passed away at the home of her son, Ludwig Schmidt, near St. Sebald last Tuesday evening. Rev. Fuehr will be in charge of the funeral services. Mrs. Schmidt, who was born in Germany, was 75 years of age at the time of her death. Her husband died a number of years ago and since then she has been living with her son. She was a sister of Gustus Eppler of this city.
