Last Friday, while Rev. C. W. Rodgers of this city was preaching the funeral sermon of Mrs. Mary Nichols, who died Wednesday of last week at her home southeast of town, the deceased woman's son, Eugene lay dying. The funeral of the latter was held Monday of this week. A daughter of Mrs. Nichols died last fall and another son now is ill. The deceased woman, Mrs. Nichols, was 77 years of age and all her children are well along in years.
