Elkader Register, Thur., 21 Feb. 1907. North McGregor column.

Monday occurred the funeral of Samuel P. Gale, one of the pioneers of this place. Mr. Gale had been ill with a cold, but was not considered in a serious condition, and his death came as a surprise to nearly all of his friends. The services were held at the residence Monday forenoon.
