Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 16 Mar. 1916. Littleport column.
Maggie Nading, of whose illness we wrote last week, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Thos. White, the early part of last week, after an illness of two weeks. Her passing has cast a gloom over the entire community as Maggie was well known and held in high esteem by all who knew her. Doctors and nurses did all they could, as did friends and neighbors, to stay the grim destroyer, but all to no avail, as her weakened condition failed at the critical moment, and she passed to the Great Beyond. She leaves, besides her parents, two brothers and two sisters to mourn her loss. Burial was in Union cemetery south of town, after a funeral service at the house, conducted by Mr. True, of Edgewood.
