Mrs. Lew House* passed away at her home Sunday evening after an illness of several months duration. The family has lived in this community for many years and has a wide acquaintance.
Many friends of the family were in attendance at the short services held at the home Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. Rose, pastor of the Methodist Church, had charge of the services.
Interment took place in County Corners cemetery. The deceased leaves a husband, one son Harley, who lives at home, and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Powelson, of Marietta, Minn., and several grandchildren.
*Note: correct surname is HOWES. Louis 'Lew' Howes and Harley Howes are also buried in County Corners cemetery
