Carolina Catherina Friedericka Ehlers was born September 14th, 1834, in Schleswig, Holstein, Germany. On the 25th of February, 1866, she was united in marriage to Ernest Boller. In 1883 they immigrated to the United States, living for some time at Boston, Mass., some years later coming to Farmersburg. Six children were born to bless their home, two of which preceded the mother in death to the shores of eternity, Dora, Mrs. Fred Klingman, died 13 years ago, and Jennie, Mrs. Henry Toutsch, of Elkader, died seven years ago. The remaining are: Eita, Mrs. Fred Wahls, of Farmersburg; Henry, of Cresco; Charles, of Farmersburg; Emma, Mrs. Harry Holsinger, of Minneapolis. She also leaves besides her aged husband, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. About four years ago she moved with her husband to the Wahl's home, where she concluded life's pilgrimage Friday afternoon, December 31st, at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 17 days. The funeral services were held from the home to the Lutheran Church, Rev. G. F. Braun officiating. Interment in the new cemetery.
