Rev. W. Paulsen received word Tuesday morning that his infant son had died at Finley Hospital, at Dubuque, Monday evening. He left on the afternoon train to bring the remains to Elkport for interment and the funeral took place Thursday. Mrs. Paulsen returned home with him.

Paul George Paulsen, the infant son of Rev. W. Paulsen and wife, died October 31st at Finley Hospital, Dubuque, at the age of fourteen days. Rev. Prof. Zellinger, of Dubuque, officiated at the funeral, which was held at the Lutheran Church and largely attended. The pall bearers were Arnold Zittergruen, Edward Zittergruen, Ralph Musfeld, and Andrew Reusche'. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the whole community.
