Wm. Kelsey, a farmer living south of town, died very suddenly Saturday evening. Mr. Kelsey had been in town all afternoon and appeared to be in his usual health. In the evening while seated in his chair he passed away without a moment's warning. Heart failure was the cause of his death. Mr. Kelsey was an old settler here and leaves a large number of friends. Besides his wife he is mourned by two daughters, Mrs. Amy Hewitt, of Lamont, and Mrs. Sherman Hendershot, of this place. Funeral services were held Tuesday forenoon, interment in the Compton cemetery.
