The death of Mrs. Dorothea Wilberg occurred September 4th, 1916, at the home of her daughter in Gothersburg, Neb., leakage of the heart causing her death.
Deceased was born in Krusemark, Germany, May 24th, 1848, and was 68 years, 3 months and 10 days of age at the time of her death.
She was married in 1883 in Clayton County to August Wilberg and was the mother of one daughter. Her husband preceded her to the Great Beyond five years ago. His death occurred on the farm near Mederville, where they were then living. Since then the deceased has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Ed Brinkhaus, in Gothenberg, Neb.
Besides the surviving daughter, one grandchild and a brother, Mr. Ferdinand Nachtigall, mourn a good woman, and her loss will be felt greatly both by her relatives and by the many friends and neighbors who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were held at the Mederville Cemetery, September 8th, 1916, Rev. C. H. Franke, of Elkader, officiating.
