Carl F. Bunting passed away September 5th, 1916, at his home in Nunica, Mich., at the age of 51 years, 8 months and 5 days. Death was due to a stroke suffered while at work.
Deceased was born in Heinrichshof, Germany, December 30th, 1864, and came to this country when 18 years age. He was married December 31st, 1902, in Boardman township, to Emma Feller, who with one son, a boy of six years, survives him. He moved to the farm in Nuncia, Mich., in the spring of 1912, and during his four years' residence there was loved and highly respected by all who knew him.
Besides his wife and son he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bunting, two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Strong, and Mrs. Mathilda Feller, of Fayette County, and one brother, William, of Littleport, Iowa.
Burial services were held at the Ev. Friedens Church, conducted by Rev. C. H. Franke at 2 p.m. last Friday, and interment was at the East Side cemetery. A large procession of mourners followed the body to its final resting place.
