Ploog, Catherine Clara died 1916

Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 22 Jun. 1916.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ploog mourn the death of their infant daughter, which occurred early Tuesday morning. The little one was apparently all right Monday night but when Mrs. Ploog awakened the next morning she discovered the baby in a dying condition. A physician was summoned but he was unable to do anything. Catherine Clara Ploog was born February 4th, 1916, and died June 20th, 1916, aged four months and twenty days. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon with interment in St. Joseph's cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Ploog have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.
