Mrs. Henry Ellsworth succumbed to heart trouble last Friday at her home in Read township. Her illness had been of long duration.

Claresy Daniels was born in Westport, N.Y., Sept. 13th, 1832, and was 83 years, 11 month and 12 days of age at the time of her death.

She was married to Henry Ellsworth in 1854 and was the mother of ten children, six of whom have preceded her in death. The family have resided in Clayton County for the past 61 years.

Deceased is survived by her husband and four sons, Er_, of Clayton, Charles, of Mason City, Andrew and C. A., at home, and one brother, J. A. Daniels, of Westport, N.Y.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Congregational church at Elkader at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. C. H. Franke officiating. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.

Besides the surviving family Mrs. Ellsworth will be mourned by all who knew her. While they feel her loss deeply they are consoled by the thought that she has gone to meet the reward that is due her long and good life.
