Will Elmer Tracy, son of Leonard and Ellen J. (Conway) Tracy, was born March 8th, 1869, at Lone Rock, Wis., and died July 14th, 1916, at his home near Littleport, Iowa. He was a hard working man and honest in all his dealings. For the last ten years he had been bothered with heart trouble, that being the cause of his death. September 15th, 1891, he was united in marriage to Mary E. Steward, of Strawberry Point, Iowa. Seven children were born to them, three sons and four daughters, one daughter dying in infancy. Those left to mourn his departure are Orin, Earl, Goldie, Wilberta, Florence and the little babe, together with his wife and five brothers, besides numerous other relatives and friends. He had been a member of York Lodge No. 75 I.O.O.F. Lodge at this place for a number of years. This order had charge of the services at the grave. Rev. Rose, of the M.E. Church, and a number of the other conducted the funeral services at te home near Littleport, Monday, July 17th, at 10:30 a.m., thence to the Strawberry Point cemetery.
