Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 27 July 1916.

Mrs. Allie Jensen died on Thursday, July 20th, at her home in Marion township, at the age of forty-three years, after an illness of seven months.

Allie Olsen was born in 1873, the daughter of Arle and Sigre Olsen, and was baptized and confirmed in the Marion congregation.

On January 3rd, 1895, she was united in marriage to Jens Jensen. Eight children were born to this union, two sons and six daughters, viz: Mrs. Asker Nyborg, Alfred, Josephine, Irene, Florence, Velgie, Elvena and Alvin.

The funeral was held Sunday from the Gunder church and was very largely attended, the church being packed, Rev. Arvesen officiating.

The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in their great loss.
