Miss Bessie Larson passed away at the Clark Hospital, Saturday morning, after an illness of one year and eight months with a tumor on the brain. It was thought at the time she was taken to the hospital that her sufferings would soon be at an end, but not so. She leaves two sisters and several brothers, an aged father and mother to mourn her loss. She was taken to the home of her father and mother, Saturday. The funeral was held Monday afternoon, Rev. Cutler, of the Congregational Church, officiating, burial in the Swede cemetery. She was a member of long standing of Pocket City Rebekah Lodge No. 114, of McGregor.
