MRS. LOUISE ELEONORE MUELLER.
Mrs. Louise Eleonore Muller, nee Borcherding, was born on Feb. 1, 1831, in Schessinghausen, Nienburg, Hanover, Germany, and passed away at her home in Garnavillo township on Wednesday morning, March fifteenth, at the advanced age of 80 years, 1 month and 15 days. In 1856 she was united in marriage to F. D. Mueller. Eight years later they came to America, settling near Guttenberg, where they remained until their removal to a farm near Garnavillo, upon which the deceased lived until the time of her death. Her husband died about two years ago and a daughter Louise preceded the parents in death in 1900.
Those left to mourn the death of a kind and loving mother are Caroline Stutheit, of Cook, Neb.; Wilhelmine Kahle, of Jefferson township; Anna Backhaus and Gottlieb, of Manly; Wilhelm, of Read; Fred and Henry, of Garnavillo, and one sister in Germany, besides numerous friends.
Funeral services were held at St. Peter's church Friday, March 17th, Rev. Basholm officiating.
