At the home of her sister, Mrs. John Toutsch, of Elkader, Ia., on Monday, March 11, 1907, occurred the death of Mrs. Jos. Tiffany. The lady had been suffering from poor health for some time.
Ella J. Atwood was born on July 2, 1854, in Read township, Clayton Co., Iowa. She was married to W. H. Bowers December 22, 1871. Three children one son and two daughters, were born to them, Merrill Bowers of Le Roy, Minn., Mrs. Orpha Rogers, of Alvord, Iowa, and Mrs. Ora Longfield, of Edgerton, Wis. In 1888 she was married to Joseph Tiffany. She is survived by her husband, mother, three sisters, one brother and three children.
Funeral services were held at the home of John Toutsch yesterday morning, Rev. A. S. Hock officiating. Interment in the Patterson cemetery in Wagner township.
