FLANAGAN, CORNIN, MALEY

Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 16 Mar. 1911.

Catharine Cornin was born in Ireland about 81 years ago. She came to the United States, living for a time in Ohio, and about 50 years ago moved to Clayton county, where she was united in marriage to Michael Flanagan, about 29 years ago.

Her death occurred Monday evening in a Sanitarium at Dubuque, where she had been taken some two weeks ago, and her remains were brought to Elkader on Tuesday.

She is survived by her step-children, M. J. Flanagan, of Inwood, Iowa; Miss Kate Flanagan, of Chicago; and J. L. Flanagan, of this city; also her niece, Mrs. Kate Maley and family, of this city.

Funeral services were held yesterday in St. Joseph's church, Rev. J. F. Reilly officiating. Interment in the Catholic cemetery. May her soul rest in peace.
