Mrs. Louise Horsch died Monday morning, in this city, after a short illness. Death was due to infirmities of old age, the esteemed lady being past four score years. Mrs. Horsch was born in Amt. Nienburg, Germany, March 26th, 1826; married to Henry Strankman in 1851, who died in 1863; came to America in 1873 and located in Bentor county, coming to Guttenberg the following year. Her second marriage was to Henry Horsch, in this city in 1874. She died Monday, Feb. 27, 1911, at the age of 85 years, 11 months and 1 day. She leaves two sons and one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Horsch, of this city, Louis and Wm., of Colorado. The funeral was held Friday, Mar. 3, at 2 p.m. with services at St. John's Lutheran church. Burial in city cemetery.
