Mrs. Ann E. Deyo, mother of our fellow townsmen, George and E. J., who had been spending the winter with her daughter at Osage, died last Saturday after a short illness at the age of 85 years. Her body was brought here on Monday for interment. Owing to diphtheria being in the home where she died, one of the children suffering with the disease, public services could not be held. A short prayer was offered at the grave.

Her son George, who was with her the last days of her life, and Mrs. Jerald accompanied the remains home, where she was laid beside her husband.
