The death of Mrs. Mary Balluff occurred last Wednesday evening at her home after an illness of cancer of the stomach. She leaves to mourn her death Mrs. Eva Meyers of Armour, S.D., Mrs. Nettie Shields of Villisca, Mrs. Eleanore Everetts, Mrs. Melia Everetts, Francis Balluff, Mrs. Stella Wiltsie and the Misses Josephine and Gertrude Balluff of this place besides several grandchildren and other relatives and friends to mourn her death. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church Saturday morning conducted by Rev. Bowan. Interment took place beside her loved ones in the County Corners cemetery. It can be said that the deceased was a good mother, a kind neighbor and willing to help any in need. Although gone from us her memories will not be forgotten.
