Mrs. Matthias Losch passed away at her home in Boardman township, January 19, at the age of eighty-seven years.

She was born in Wurtenberg, Germany, on September 30, 1838. There she received her early education. She was united in marriage to Matthias Losch here in St. Joseph's church. To this union twelve children were born; nine children survive as follows: David, Mary, John, Louise, Peter, Anna, Martha, Henry and Allie.

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's church last Friday, with interment in St. Joseph's cemetery, Rev. James P. Taaken officiating.

Note: the obit of her son, Peter, gives her name as Louise. "He was the son of Martin and Louise Losch".
