WOMAN TAKES OWN LIFE BY DROWNING.

Mrs. Frank Meisner, who had been staying at the L. R. Meisner home a short distance south of Elkader took her own life early Tuesday afternoon by drowning in the river which joins the farm.

Mrs. Meisner's body was recovered about an hour after she had been missed.

Mrs. Frank Meisner came to her death on the Lou Meisner farm a short distance south of Elkader on Tuesday, November 8th.

Fannie Delorma Meisner was born Dec. 11, 1868, in Elkader, the daughter of Emil and Mary Wagner.

She was married here in Elkader to Frank Meisner and one child, which died in infancy was born to this union.

For many years Mr. and Mrs. Meisner lived on a farm in Highland township and it was there, only recently, that her husband died. Three weeks ago she came to the home of her brother, Lou Meisner. She is survived by the following sisters and brothers; Amelia Meisner, Mary Leonard, Lou Wagner and two half- brothers, Fred Wagner and Charlie Wagner. One half-brother, Ernest Wagner, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held here last Thursday afternoon, the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. Interment was made in the East Side cemetery.
