Helen Hulverson died Sunday, Nov. 6th, in the home of her brother, C. O. Hulverson, east of Elkader, following an illness of six weeks.
Helen Hulverson was born Aug. 13, 1862, in Norway, the daughter of Hans and Christina Hulverson. She came to this country in 1866 and the spring of that year settled in this county, where she received her education. Ever since her arrival in this county she has lived on the farm where she died, and in recent years she has kept house for her brother, C. O. Hulverson
She was a member of the Norway church in Wagner township and funeral services were held there Tuesday with burial in the Norway church (cemetery), the Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiating.
Miss Hulverson is survived by six sisters and one brother, as follows: Mrs. Clara Laron, Miller, Ia.; Mrs. Martha Paulson, Clear Lake; Mrs. A. C. Meyer, Castalia; Mrs. Gunder Thompson, St. Olaf; Mrs. Wm. Hulverson, California; Miss Tena Hulverson and C. O. Hulverson, at home.
