MONONA: Mrs. Augusta Wagner, aged 57, died Wednesday afternoon at the Wagner home, after several weeks' illness. Surviving are the widower, Joseph Wagner; four daughters, Mrs. Geo. O'Leary of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Dennis O'Leary of Rosemount, Minn., Mrs. A. A. _habela of Prairie du Chien, and Mrs. Margaret Bauer of North Buena Vista; and four sons, Wendell Wagner, Postville, Herbert A. Wagner, Leonard Wagner and Albert J. Wagner of Monona; and a large number of grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at nine o'clock from St. Patrick's Catholic church in Monona. Father Luke Donlon read the mass and officiated in the Catholic cemetery, where she was laid to rest. Mrs. Wagner was a very devout Catholic, attended mass regularly, was a member of the Rosary society, the aid society, and always did her part. She was a true mother, always happy when her children and grandchildren came to see her, and was a true companion to her husband, who will so sadly miss her. The sympathy of the entire community is extended the family.
